CREME MASQUE VERNIX is a moisturizing and repairing combination of cream and mask suitable for all skin types. It mimics the composition of peptides and lipids that the protective skin of a newborn baby has - hence the name "Vernix". Gives the skin a sense of rebirth with smooth, even skin tone and texture.
Moisture is effectively preserved with plant-based squalane, raspberry seed oil and lanolin oil from sheep's wool. The composition is carefully developed to mimic our own skin as much as possible. Repairs eczema and damaged skin effectively, also around the eyes such as red, swollen eyelids. The unbalanced lipid membrane is repaired to return to a good balance.

From the 28th week of pregnancy as well as at birth, nature protects the skin’s surface with a waxy substance of sebaceous origin called vernix caseosa (vernix is the Latin word for varnish). Vernix is the first, still-immature cutaneous barrier of prenatal skin. It is made up of water, lipids and proteins. Its physical and biological properties are remarkable. The formulation of Crème Masque Vernix almost identically reproduces the original composition of vernix to combat cutaneous dryness and regenerate the epidermis.

Apply a thin layer of mask on cleansed skin. Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with cold water. Pat the skin dry with a soft towel. You can also leave Vernix on overnight for an extra long treatment.
